It is not permissible for a woman's guardian to force her to marry someone she does not desire. We advise the girl to perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance) and seek consultation. If her heart is inclined towards marrying this man, she should proceed, for Allah Almighty says: "And perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you."
