Is it permissible to give zakat to those who have not received their salaries for several months, knowing that they will become self-sufficient upon receiving their salaries?

Zakat has specific categories of recipients mentioned in the Holy Quran. If these people are poor or needy, lacking what suffices for their basic needs, then it is permissible to give them zakat. As for their salaries, as long as they are unable to obtain them, these are considered absent funds, and it is permissible to give them from zakat until they retrieve their money.
