Raising the voice with the Quran through loudspeakers in mosques before or after the Friday prayer, whether by direct recitation or via a recording device, is not permissible. This is because it distracts those entering for prayer and for Quran recitation. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not raise your voices over one another with the Quran." It may also harm the sick among the mosque's neighbors. Averting harm takes precedence over achieving benefits. The duty of the worshipper is to advise those who do this with gentleness and wisdom, and to explain the harms resulting from this action and that it is not part of the Sunnah (definition).
