What is the ruling on traveling during Ramadan for the purpose of breaking the fast?

Fasting is an obligation and a pillar of Islam, and it is not permissible to resort to trickery to evade this duty. Therefore, whoever travels in order to break their fast, their travel and breaking of fast are unlawful (haram). They must repent and resume fasting; otherwise, fasting becomes obligatory for them even while traveling.
