It is not permissible to resort to trickery by traveling in order to justify breaking the fast. So, whoever travels deceptively to break their fast is not permitted to do so, and fasting remains obligatory upon them. As for one who initiates a journey during the daytime in Ramadan, the correct view is that it is permissible for them to break their fast after they have passed beyond the houses of their town's inhabited area.
