Is it permissible to work as a network engineer for a company that provides hosting and data storage services (both permissible and impermissible), knowing that the nature of my work is technical and I have no relation to the content of the stored data, and that the parent company has a partnership in a pornographic website? And is it permissible to work there to gain experience in order to return to my home country?

Allah Almighty has forbidden aiding a sinner in their sin, as He states: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression). If the work necessitates aiding in something forbidden, such as pornographic websites, then it is forbidden. This is unless it is possible to restrict oneself to permissible websites. As an example, the Permanent Committee for Issuing Fatwas ruled that working in land distribution for an entity that grants usurious loans is not permissible, because it is cooperation in sin and aggression. And whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate them with something better. They should fear Allah, and Allah will provide them a way out and sustain them from where they do not expect. Gaining experience must be through permissible means, and safeguarding one's religion takes precedence.
