I work an evening job at a website hosting company as a new technical support employee. My task is to receive complaints and fix malfunctions. The company hosts various types of websites, including artists' websites, song forums, and regular websites. I request guidance regarding the ruling on working in this field, especially since I have moved between several technological fields, such as networks and maintenance, and I find it difficult to avoid what might be prohibited in them, and I wish to continue in this field I am currently working in.

Working in a permissible job is lawful, even if the company engages in some prohibited activities, as long as your specific work is permissible. However, it is not permissible to assist in repairing anything related to forbidden things, such as a music forum. As for tools like the Internet, it is permissible to work with them and provide their services, unless it is known or highly probable that they will be used for unlawful purposes, in which case it becomes impermissible.
