What is the ruling on naming with "Nala" and is it written as "Nala" or "Nalah"?

It is permissible to be named "Nala" if it is derived from the Arabic word "Al-Nil," and there is no religious impediment to that. It was mentioned in Ibn Battal's commentary on Sahih Al-Bukhari that "Al-Nawl, Al-Nal, and Al-Nalah" mean a recompense, while "Al-Nil and Al-Nawal" mean a gift given freely. "Al-Nalah" also refers to the area around the Haram or the courtyard of Mecca.
