Is bringing the groom to the bride’s gift on a horse-drawn carriage, accompanied by women singing and clapping, considered a violation of the Prophet’s guidance (peace be upon him)? And is the presence of veiled women singing near the bride’s house considered a Sharia violation?

If a custom is free from শরী'আ-prohibited acts, then there is no harm in it, for the default rule concerning customs is permissibility. Islam has encouraged the announcement and publicizing of marriage. The Sunnah has permitted the playing of the daff (tambourine) and singing songs with good meanings, as in the hadith: "The distinction between what is lawful and unlawful is the daff and the voice in marriage," and the hadith of 'Aisha when she married off a relative of hers, and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, the Ansar are a people among whom there is dalliance, so if you send with her someone to say: 'We have come to you, we have come to you, so greeting to us and to you.'"
