Is it permissible to change the intention of the current Asr prayer to the intention of a missed Asr prayer while performing it?

Whoever enters the Asr prayer and then changes his intention to the missed Asr prayer: neither of the two prayers is valid, because the first one became void by the interruption of its intention, and the second one was not intended from the beginning. This is what Ibn Qudamah and Ibn Uthaymeen mentioned. Based on this, both prayers must be repeated.
