If the wife asks to be anally penetrated, the husband should advise her and remind her of the prohibition of this act, and that it is one of the gravest abominations, and that it is not permissible for him to fulfill her request. The husband should not rush to divorce her, but rather invite her to repentance and to abandon this habit. If she insists after being advised, then it is preferable for him to divorce her, for fear that she might drag him into this act or commit it with someone else. Divorce is permissible in principle.
