ما هو أساس الطهارة؟

Purity holds a great status in Islam. Allah commanded His Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "And your garments purify." It is a fundamental condition for the validity of prayer, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah does not accept the prayer of any one of you if he has invalidated his ablution until he performs ablution." Purity includes purity from minor ritual impurity (Wudu and Tayammum), purity from major ritual impurity (Ghusl), and purity from impurities (removing defilement).
