Is a wife sinning by prioritizing her children's well-being over her husband's, and by comparing her love for her children to her husband's love for his children, while neglecting her role as a guardian in her husband's home?

It is obligatory for a wife to fulfill her husband's rights. His right takes precedence over all other rights, after the right of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him). Her obedience to him precedes her obedience to her mother and father, and fulfilling his rights takes precedence over fulfilling the rights of her father, mother, and children. This is a well-known matter with abundant evidence. Therefore, if a wife is neglectful of her duties towards her husband, she has sinned and must repent from that. However, if her care for her children and love for them does not lead to neglecting her husband's rights, then she is not sinful.
