Is a wife sinful if she withholds from her husband the provision of household needs, such as food and clothing, due to his ill-treatment and neglect?

If a husband is abusive and neglects the rights of his wife and child, he is an oppressor and a betrayer of trust, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, all of you are guardians, and all of you are responsible for your wards. A man is a guardian over the people of his household, and he is responsible for them." If the wife spends on her husband and child, she is a doer of good and will be rewarded for it.
