Is a person rewarded for the hardship of intense heat, bitter cold, storms, and similar weather phenomena that weaken their ability, especially in light of current climate changes?

The Muslim is rewarded for every affliction he experiences. Everything that befalls him, be it fatigue, illness, worry, sorrow, harm, or grief, God expiates his sins through it, even a thorn that pricks him. Some scholars have mentioned that heat is a cause for expiation of sins. Thus, calamities, heat, and cold are a type of suffering through which God expiates sins.
