What is the ruling of Islamic law concerning a man who swore an oath to his wife that she would not spend the night with him in the house during a quarrel, then their life together returned to normal?

If a husband swears that his wife will not spend a certain night with him, and that night passes and she returns, then there is no breaking of the oath. However, if he swears that she will never spend the night with him, and then she returns, he is obligated to offer expiation for breaking an oath: feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If he cannot find any of these, then he must fast for three days.
