What is the ruling on someone who, in a fit of anger, swore by divorce, saying, "By Allah, even if the sky were to fall upon the earth, his wife would not return home," and then she did?

If a husband swears that his wife will not return to his house, and then she does, he has broken his oath and must offer an expiation for breaking an oath. The expiation for breaking an oath is feeding ten poor persons with a متوسط [average] meal, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If one cannot find [any of these], then it is fasting for three days. His anger does not prevent the oath from taking effect, unless he loses his consciousness and awareness.
