What is the ruling on one who swore an oath to his wife, saying, "By an oath, you will return tomorrow," three times for her to return home, but she did not?

If a man swears to his wife, saying: "By an oath" or "Upon me be an oath" that you return, then the decisive factor is his intention. If he intended an oath by Allah, then he is bound by an expiation for breaking an oath, which is: feeding ten needy persons, or clothing them, or emancipating a slave. If he cannot find [any of these], then fasting for three days. If he intended divorce by it, then divorce occurs. And if it does not complete the three divorces, then he may take his wife back during her 'iddah (waiting period).
