Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Oct 24, 2026
If the questioner is asking about the most virtuous deeds on Friday, then the most virtuous deed is performing the prayers in their prescribed times in congregation.
As for the recommended deeds on Friday, they include: increasing prayers upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, reciting Surat Al-Kahf, and supplicating due to the presence of a time when supplications are answered.
However, Friday is not singled out for fasting, nor is its night singled out for standing in prayer, unlike other days and nights.
