How can one repent from zina and return to commitment after drifting away from acts of obedience, with complete readiness to implement Allah's prescribed punishment?

You must conceal yourself, and you are not obliged to come forward to the one who enforces the حد (prescribed punishment). Islamic law encourages sinners to repent and conceal themselves. As it is stated in the Hadith: "Whoever is afflicted with any of these abominations, let him conceal himself with the concealment of Allah. For indeed, whoever exposes his page to us, we will apply the Book of Allah upon him."
