Is boycotting a sister who misbehaves, verbally and physically abuses, and does not listen to reason, considered a severing of kinship ties for which God punishes, especially after attempts to correct her behavior?

If a father abandons his wife without a valid reason and does not provide for her, he is unjust, and it is an act of righteousness to advise him to repent. However, it is wrong for a stepmother to raise her children to sever ties of kinship and harbor ill-will. The bad behavior of a divorced daughter necessitates preventing her from committing forbidden acts and reforming her with wisdom, starting with gentleness and advice. It is not permissible to strike her at this age except by the ruler or his deputy. The general principle is that a Muslim should not forsake his brother for more than three nights, unless the estrangement is for a legitimate Islamic benefit that would reform her condition. In such a case, it is permissible, and even obligatory, if it is the only way to achieve reform.
