What is the meaning of the word "makrumah" (virtuous deed/honor) mentioned in the hadith: "Circumcision is a Sunnah for men and a makrumah for women"?

The Hadith "Circumcision is Sunnah for men, an honor for women" is weak in its chain of narration. The word "honor" (مكرمة) was interpreted by scholars as "recommended," meaning a recommended trait. This is what many scholars have adopted regarding female circumcision. As for interpreting it to mean that Islam honored women, no scholar has said this, and Islam's honoring of women is a self-evident truth of the religion.
