Is it obligatory to return money taken from a company with an overtime voucher for work not fully completed?

It is not permissible for an employee to receive an unlawful wage. He must seek forgiveness from Allah, repent, and return the money to the company. If it is impossible to return it, he should spend it on general public welfare for Muslims.
