Is the phrase: "And no one has been given a gift better and more expansive (أوسع) than patience" correct, or should it be modified to "أوسع" (more expansive/ample)?

There is no harm in correcting a typographical error or a grammatical mistake (lahn) in a Hadith, even if it appears in a musnad (attested) narration, especially if it does not alter the meaning. The erudite scholars have held that it should be corrected and the accurate reading should be recited.
