Is it not more correct to say, "for it is more proper that you not scorn the blessing of Allah Almighty," instead of "for it is more proper that you scorn the blessing of Allah Almighty," in the noble Hadith?

The aforementioned Hadith was narrated by Muslim from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) with the wording: "Look at those who are beneath you, and do not look at those who are above you, for that is more likely to make you appreciate the blessings of Allah." What you mentioned as correct is indeed correct. As for the other narration, we have not come across it, nor do we know of any linguistic interpretation that would support it.
