Is a young man who did not grow up in obedience to Allah since puberty, then sincerely repented at the age of 22, considered among those whom Allah will shade on the Day when there is no shade but His, and does the description "a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah" apply to him?

The young man whom Allah will shade with His shade on the Day of Judgment is one who has reached the age of youth (from puberty to approximately thirty) and grew up and was raised in obedience, and spent his youth in it. If a Muslim misses out on some of this virtue, he can still seize the other qualities mentioned in the Hadith, such as attachment to mosques, giving charity in secret, remembering Allah in solitude, and loving brothers in obedience. Satan should not deter him from these acts of obedience on the pretext that he did not grow up in obedience. And indeed, for one who repents and turns to Allah after the age of youth, Allah will replace his bad deeds with good ones.
