Is it permissible for a man to express adoration for his mother?

It is impermissible to express admiration for a woman's charms and allure, whether she is one's mother or another woman. This is because it promotes indecency, arouses forbidden instincts, and publicizes evil, based on the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, those who like that indecency should be spread among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter" and His saying: "Allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged." Also, based on the Prophet's ﷺ saying: "A woman should not intimately interact with another woman and then describe her to her husband as if he is looking at her." However, praising a woman by mentioning her good morals, such as generosity and patience, is permissible and may even be commendable.
