Is it Islamically permissible to kiss the hand of my fiancée's mother, who is like a mother to me, and to place my hand on her when she cries, knowing that she is older than my own mother?

The fiancée's mother is a stranger to the suitor before the marriage contract with her daughter. Thus, it is not permissible to be in seclusion with her, touch her, or kiss her hand before the contract. However, after the contract, it is permissible to kiss her hand. It is not permissible to soothe her sadness by placing a hand on her body, even with a barrier, before the contract; for touching is forbidden, especially on parts other than the hand, such as the back and shoulder.
