Is it permissible for a girl to kiss the hand of a woman whom she considers to be like her mother and who treats her like her daughter?

Kissing the hand of someone known for their knowledge, righteousness, and religious devotion is permissible or even recommended. Imam Al-Nawawi said: "Kissing a man's hand for his asceticism, righteousness, knowledge, nobility, piety, or other similar religious qualities is not disliked; rather, it is recommended." Therefore, there is no objection to kissing the hand of a righteous, devout woman, as a form of honor and respect.
