After divorcing his wife three times while she is four months pregnant, and given that both spouses suffer from psychological problems, is there still a possibility of reconciliation, or should she be sent to her family, or is psychological treatment the solution?

Divorce does not occur if it takes place in a state of anger where the husband loses his consciousness and awareness of what he says and does, according to the hadith (definition), "There is no divorce in a state of closure [i.e., compulsion or extreme anger]." However, if the anger did not cause the husband to lose his consciousness and awareness, then the divorce does occur.

So, if the divorce occurred in a state where the mind was lost due to anger, it is not counted as a divorce. But if the anger did not reach this extent, it is counted as a divorce. If the number of counted divorces reaches three, then the wife is irrevocably divorced and is not permissible for him until she marries another husband. If the number does not reach three, he can take his wife back. It is advisable to consult with scholars directly to clarify the circumstances and conditions that affect the ruling.
