Did Al-Layth ibn Sa'd issue a fatwa to Al-Rashid based on the Qur'anic verse: "But for he who fears the standing before his Lord are two gardens" so that he could take back his wife?

Abu Nu'aym narrated in Al-Hilyah that Harun al-Rashid swore to his wife Zubaydah, "You are divorced if I am not among the people of Paradise." So the jurists gathered to issue a ruling regarding his oath. When he did not find a convincing answer, he summoned jurists from all lands. After the jurists gave various answers, Al-Layth ibn Sa'd met with Al-Rashid privately and requested a Mus'haf. Then Al-Rashid read in Surat Ar-Rahman until he reached the verse: "But for he who fears the standing before his Lord are two Gardens." Thereupon, Al-Layth asked Al-Rashid to swear by Allah that he feared the standing before Allah, and Al-Rashid answered in the affirmative. Then Al-Layth explained to him that Allah mentioned two Gardens, not just one. Al-Rashid and Zubaydah were pleased and rejoiced at this, and Al-Rashid ordered rewards for Al-Layth ibn Sa'd. This was affirmed by the jurists, as whoever dies a Muslim, his ultimate destination is Paradise, even if he committed sins.
