What is the ruling on concealing one's Islam from one's family due to their severe opposition to it, and is it obligatory to leave the home in this situation or not, while observing filial piety?

A Muslim woman should thank Allah for the blessing of faith and for steadfastness upon it, even if she faces trials from her disbelieving family. She should always ask Allah for steadfastness. The separation of destiny from disbelieving parents is a great test, and Islam distinguishes between truth and falsehood, even if it leads to separation from family. Religion is not a price for anything, and a Muslim woman must prioritize her religion above any other consideration. She must be dutiful to her parents and treat them kindly, as long as they do not command polytheism. If there is hope that they will soften and accept Islam without strife, then she should accompany them with kindness. If she fears for her religion and cannot perform her rituals, and she finds a safe place for herself and her honor where she can openly practice her religion, then she must go there. If that is not available, then she should be patient and accompany her parents with kindness, fear Allah as much as she can, and strive to marry a righteous man who will help her in matters of her religion.
