What must a husband and his children do concerning his wife who has embraced Islam but does not practice Islamic rituals, and will they be questioned about her on the Day of Resurrection?

If the woman pronounces the two testimonies (Shahadatayn), she enters Islam, and it becomes obligatory for her to submit to its laws. If she then abandons acting in accordance with the two testimonies, she must be called to Islam. If she persists (in her abandonment), a ruling of apostasy is made against her, and separation from her becomes obligatory.

However, if she has not entered Islam: - If she is an atheist or secular, not adhering to any religion, then separation from her is obligatory. - If she is a Kitabiyah (Jewish or Christian), you may keep her, as marriage to a Kitabiyah is permissible, while continuing to invite her to Islam.
