One must hasten to embrace it by uttering the two testimonies of faith (Shahadatayn) before it is too late. One must be patient with any material harm that befalls a Muslim due to their adherence to their religion, for Allah will compensate them with something better in the Hereafter. Embracing Islam only requires uttering the two testimonies of faith; there is no need to declare it publicly. A Muslim can practice their rituals secretly to avoid conflict with their family. It is recommended to associate with the righteous to learn religious matters and to frequently listen to the Holy Qur'an, for it is a healing for hearts. Furthermore, the marriage of a non-Muslim man to a Muslim woman is invalid and is not permissible unless he embraces Islam and a new marriage contract is concluded.
