What is the ruling on disposing of tea dregs in the toilet, knowing that these dregs are of no use?

It is Islamically permissible to dispose of tea remnants or any other food and drink by discarding them in designated waste receptacles if they are no longer fit for use or benefit, as they lose their value at that point. A Muslim must be careful not to engage in extravagance and wastefulness, which are forbidden in Islam, for Allah Almighty says: "And eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess."
