This matter has two scenarios: If it is with the permission of the competent authorities, then there is no harm upon you. Or if it is without their permission, in which case it is not permissible to proceed with that except in accordance with the regulations set by these authorities, and that includes taking medication by means of a doctor's prescription, due to the state's interests involved and the dangers to people's lives. Therefore, it is not permissible to take medication without a doctor's prescription, and whoever does so must be advised, and efforts must be made to regulate the matter. As for the salary, it is lawful, and it has no relation to taking medication without a prescription.
