If a specific medication is legally designated for a particular group, then others are not permitted to benefit from it except with special permission. Whoever takes it unlawfully must return it. However, if the medication is rare or expensive, and his child is in dire need of it, it is permissible to take it with or without compensation due to necessity. But if it is available and reasonably priced, it is not permissible to take it unlawfully.
