What is the ruling on praying in a mosque located within the wall of a cemetery, separated from the graves by an iron fence and a paved road fifteen meters wide, knowing that the five daily prayers and Jumu'ah are observed therein?

There is no impediment to praying in the aforementioned mosque, so long as it is separate from the cemetery and divided from it by the mosque's wall and the iron fence, and there are no graves inside it. This is because what is prohibited is praying directly towards graves or establishing a mosque in the midst of graves. Jurists have stipulated the permissibility of prayer if there is a barrier between the worshipper and the grave, such as the mosque wall.
