1- What is the ruling on piercing the navel?

It is permissible for a woman to pierce her ears for putting on earrings as adornment. However, it is not permissible to pierce the belly for putting on a ring, due to the aggression against the body without justification, and because the belly is normally covered, and because it involves imitating disbelieving and immoral women. The Prophet, peace and blessings be be upon him, said: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
