Is it permissible to use images found in messaging applications for conversation, which are faces with specific expressions, knowing that they depict human beings?

The images mentioned are either hand-drawn pictures or photographs taken with a camera (imprisoning the shadow). Hand-drawn pictures of animate beings are forbidden due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Those who make these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Give life to what you have created.'" As for photographs taken with a camera, contemporary scholars have differed regarding them, some prohibiting them (by analogy with drawn images) and others permitting them (due to not imitating Allah's creation). This applies if the pictures are complete, and not merely heads. Furthermore, pictures are forbidden if they depict alluring women that lead to temptation and corruption.
