What is the ruling on female students standing for the female teacher out of respect for her?

For girls to stand for a female teacher and boys for a male teacher is not appropriate, and its least status is severe reprehensibility (karahah shaddidah); due to what was reported from Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, would not stand for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, because they knew of his dislike for that, and because of his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever loves that men stand up for him, let him take his seat in the Fire." The ruling for women in this matter is the same as the ruling for men.
