Merely informing about an accusation against a man concerning an indecency is not considered slander (qadhf), for slander is accusing a chaste person of fornication. However, spreading this news may fall under backbiting, harming a believer, and propagating indecency, which leads to trivializing and normalizing it. It also brings joy to the wicked and the hypocrites. All of this must be avoided.
