Does mocking a person's appearance constitute apostasy that expels one from the faith, a violation of the Quran, and mockery of Allah?

Mocking the servants of Allah is a grave sin, but it does not reach the level of disbelief (kufr). One who mocks a person is not considered to be mocking Allah or the Quran. Allah Almighty has forbidden this sin in His saying: "O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them" (Quran 49:11). Scholars have stated that it is forbidden, but they have not deemed it an act of disbelief (kufr); rather, it is one of the major sins.
