And Allah Almighty's saying: (Our Lord, forgive me and my parents) was before Abraham disassociated himself from his father. The name of Abraham's father is "Azar," as mentioned in the Qur'an, and there were multiple situations between Abraham and his father in this world and the hereafter due to his polytheism, which made him a prominent and famous figure because of his enmity towards Abraham.
