The mother's testimony affirming breastfeeding takes precedence over testimony denying it, because the affirming testimony includes additional knowledge. The breastfeeding that prohibits marriage is, according to the preponderant opinion, five known breastfeedings. Therefore, a single breastfeeding does not establish prohibition, and it is permissible for the young man to marry the aforementioned girl if no other শরعي (Shar'i) breastfeeding is established between them.
