The answer

Masturbation is forbidden, and its punishment is more severe during the daytime in . Doing it at night is also forbidden, but it does not affect the validity of the fast, and one must repent from it.

If a person was able to perform (ritual bath) from major impurity but prayed before doing so, they must repeat the prayers. However, if they were unable to perform ghusl, they do not have to repeat them. Masturbation does not necessitate ghusl unless semen is ejaculated.
