Do verses 22 and 24 of Surat Yunus indicate the proximity of the Hour, and is it a sin to research and reflect upon the Qur’an in this manner?

Contemplation, research, and pondering God's verses are required when reading the Book of Allah the Almighty. However, no one is permitted to interpret the Qur'an based on mere opinion. Rather, there are specific, recognized methods for interpreting the Qur'an among scholars. The aforementioned allusions are, in our view, baseless. It is not permissible to interject verses out of their context or to burden the texts of revelation with meanings they do not bear.
