How do I seek knowledge, and with what do I begin, knowing that I am weak in reading and writing, so how can I strengthen them?

Seeking knowledge begins with sincere intention for Allah and supplication. Then, one should read the Quran, and start with concise books in every discipline, while being diligent and assiduous. One should also improve their reading and handwriting through writing, reading books, and the guidance of a shaykh. The seeker of knowledge is given glad tidings by the hadith: "Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise..."
