Seeking knowledge begins with sincere intention for Allah and supplication. Then, one should read the Quran, and start with concise books in every discipline, while being diligent and assiduous. One should also improve their reading and handwriting through writing, reading books, and the guidance of a shaykh. The seeker of knowledge is given glad tidings by the : "Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise..."
