What is the best way to seek knowledge from books until a shaykh becomes available, and is it better to combine all disciplines in one day or to focus on one discipline until mastering it?

We advise a gradual approach to seeking knowledge and not attending too many lessons in one day. Al-Zuhri said, "Whoever seeks knowledge all at once will miss it. Knowledge is only attained bit by bit, a hadith here and a hadith there." And let mastery be your aim.
