Is it legislated to raise one's hands and say "Ameen" to the Imam's supplication during the Friday sermon and between the two calls to prayer (adhan and iqamah)?

The default rule is that raising hands during supplication (du'a') is a Sunnah, except for what has been specifically excluded by evidence, such as the supplication of the khateeb (preacher) and the 'ameen' of the congregant on Friday. So, the congregant does not raise their hands while saying 'ameen' to the khateeb's supplication. As for raising hands in supplication between the two adhans, it is a Sunnah based on the general meaning of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah is Hayiy (Modest) and Karim (Generous); He feels shy when a man raises his hands to Him, to return them empty and disappointed."
